Pakistan Launches National AI Strategy to Transform Digital Economy

Pakistan's Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication has officially launched the country's first comprehensive National Artificial Intelligence Strategy. The plan aims to integrate AI across government services, healthcare, agriculture, and education within the next five years.

Key Pillars

The strategy focuses on four key pillars: talent development, research infrastructure, ethical AI governance, and industry partnerships. The government plans to establish AI centers of excellence at leading universities and create a national AI fund worth PKR 10 billion.
