Digital payments in Pakistan are gaining traction as foodpanda and HBL expand their partnership with youth-focused cards, sign-up rewards and pandapro loyalty benefits.

foodpanda and HBL have expanded their strategic partnership to promote digital payments in Pakistan, with new financial products and rewards targeting younger consumers.
Nearly half of all foodpanda orders are now paid for online, reflecting growing consumer adoption of cashless transactions across food delivery and grocery services.
The expanded collaboration will introduce youth-focused card offerings featuring sign-up rewards, promotional discounts and enhanced pandapro loyalty benefits. The initiative builds on the companies’ existing partnership and joint campaigns.
“Our evolving relationship with HBL reflects a shared vision to serve as essential digital infrastructure for Pakistan’s younger generation,” said M. Abu Bakar Siddiqi, Head of Retail Media & Partnerships at foodpanda Pakistan. He said the partnership aims to make digital transactions more convenient while encouraging cashless payments.
HBL reported that nearly nine out of ten transactions take place through digital channels, alongside its strong position in the credit card market.
The companies plan to continue consumer campaigns through digital platforms and offline activations nationwide, connecting everyday online purchases with financial services for younger customers.
The expanded partnership comes as digital payments gain ground in Pakistan’s consumer economy, with foodpanda and HBL seeking to integrate banking benefits into routine spending.
