JazzWorld leadership highlights Pakistan’s AI opportunity at GSMA Nova Future Summit
The JazzWorld Pakistan AI opportunity was highlighted at the GSMA Nova Future Summit, with calls for investment in AI, digital infrastructure and data centers.

The JazzWorld Pakistan AI opportunity was highlighted at the GSMA Nova Future Summit in Napa Valley, California, where Aamir Ibrahim, CEO of JazzWorld, called for greater investment in artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure and applications that create measurable economic value.
Speaking on the sidelines of the summit on October 2, Ibrahim outlined three priorities for countries and businesses seeking to expand their AI capabilities: investing in AI, developing infrastructure that can support it at scale, and ensuring that AI applications deliver value for users and organizations.
“Countries need to be intentional about their AI investments and invest now,” Ibrahim said, adding that Pakistan needs to ensure the digital divide does not develop into an intelligence divide. He also highlighted the need for infrastructure such as data centers and partnerships to support AI development.
Ibrahim said AI adoption should focus on improving productivity and addressing practical challenges, with sustained investment dependent on its ability to create value for businesses and individuals.
Kazim Mujtaba, President, Jazz GSM, JazzWorld, and Fatima Akhtar, VP Corporate Communications & ESG, also attended the summit, which brought together technology, telecommunications and business leaders to discuss developments shaping the digital economy.
The summit focused on AI, intelligent connectivity, digital infrastructure and emerging business models, including partnerships intended to support the adoption of new technologies at scale.
For Pakistan, the discussions are relevant to efforts to attract investment in digital infrastructure, computing capacity and innovation. As AI adoption expands, data centers, connectivity and partnerships with technology providers are becoming important components of the infrastructure required to support AI applications.
JazzWorld’s participation also provided an opportunity to discuss Pakistan’s digital and AI potential with global industry stakeholders and explore the infrastructure, investment and partnerships needed for the country’s digital economy.
